Background

The Lossie Skatepark Initiative started back in 2014, with a group of youngsters, a youth worker and a couple of local adult skateboarders.  The group got together out of a shared interest in the possibility of a unique skatepark for Lossiemouth.  

Aim

The Lossie Skatepark Initiative aims to provide a dedicated skateboarding facility, that people of all ages and abilities can enjoy.  The Lossie Skatepark would be unique locally, due to both the Surf Skate design and the intention to make it an all abilities park.

Community Involvement

So far, LSI has organised two 'pop up ramp' days, has attended several local community events to promote the idea of a skatepark in Lossiemouth, and has encouraged a wider community of support via facebook.  We are still working hard behind the scenes to ensure that another host of events will be brought to you in 2018, and hopefully soon after...the skatepark!
