The Lossiemouth Skatepark Initiative is a community led project set up to progress and deliver a skatepark in Lossiemouth. The committee have undertaken numerous community consultations and are in the process of finalising the Community Asset Transfer for the lease of the land (Coulardbank playing fields), and instructing the completion of a feasibility study. The skatepark will be suitable for all ages and abilities to practice a variety of wheeled sports including skateboards, BMX and scooters. It will also act as a dry land/ no swell surf trainer for the large surf community in the area. As part of our community consultation we are running a ‘design the logo competition’. The Brief We are looking for a logo that can be used on the skatepark, letterheads, webpage and social media. It must be suitable for use in a variety of sizes from small stickers to large banners. It can be black and white or colour. Logos can be designed simply using pen and paper or digitally produced. The final design idea, if not vector based, should be put forward and the committee will have it professionally developed. ALL WORK MUST BE YOUR OWN and not liable to infringe somebody else’s copyright. The words ‘Lossiemouth Skatepark Initiative’ or ‘LSI’ should accompany the design so consideration should be given to font styles. Entries should be placed in the competition box at reception (school) or by email to [email protected], with name and contact details/ class by noon on Wednesday 11 April.
